The Necessary Introduction

  Hello and welcome!  Before reading on, I would like to forewarn you that when I post I will be working under the assumption that you are either a fellow classmate or my professor, and thus do not need much context as to why I'm posting or what I'm posting about. On the very rare chance that you, the current reader, are not either of those the title and description of my blog should give you enough clues as to what my blog, in general, is about. As for who exactly this mysterious first person is, go ahead and click the three horizontal lines that should be on the top left corner of your screen.         This video is a book trailer I made for my Literature for Adolescents graduate Education class. The book that this trailer focuses on is The Princess Academy by Shannon Hale. I originally posted it on the website that I had to make a website for that class which you can go and view here . The reason that I cross posted it here was to show my friend Lindsey how you can post videos to Blogger, but I figured that I might as well keep it up. :)

Final Project: Coding Part 2

  In my first post about my final project, which you can read here , I lament the difficulty of condensing everything I learned into one blog post and that difficulty has followed me into this week’s post. I also remark that part of why I think I’m having trouble writing was because I wasn’t sure how to make it a reflection post and not a “this is what I did post.” While there’s a certain truth to that for this week as well, I am finding that the difficulty arises primarily due to the fact that I have a paltry week to wrap up this project. For those of you who did not read the first post, or just need a refresher, my final project involves me learning, or attempting to learn, two programming languages, R and Python, and contemplating how, if at all, I might use this in my future classroom.
